The One SXSW Film You Must See

In the summer of 2006, I was hanging out downtown after work and stumbled into a movie theatre to watch anything. By the look of the poster for 13 Tzameti, it seemed like the most interesting film showing, so I pay the $10, grab a snickers, and sit down.

**Flash Forward 2 hours**

The credits begin to roll and I look down to realize that my fists are tightly clenched and I’m sweating from nervousness. I was so emotionally caught up in this film I hadn’t realized that my finger nails were digging into the palms of my hands. I say this to say that it was the most intense and suspenseful film I’d ever seen.

The director Géla Babluani was asked to make an english remake of the film the next year and the remake has already casted Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Ben Gazzara and Alexander Skarsgard as the principles. It will premiere during SXSW and I need one of you to see the original and then go and see the remake and report back.
